Security in our Churches
Monday, January 8 – 7:00 to 8:30 pm
First United Methodist Church – Corner of First & Main
Carl Chinn is an authority on security operations and readiness in faith-based organizations (primarily churches). He regularly speaks to law-enforcement, security professionals and ministry leaders. His website www.carlchinn.com is used by ministries and law-enforcement to develop or improve operational resilience and interfaith/interagency cooperation. His book “Evil Invades Sancturary is available on his website and on Amazon.

Carl is a 1977 graduate of Pratt High School and is the son of Jack and Mary Chinn of Pratt. He and his wife Deana live in Colorado Springs where they raised their 5 children.

There will be no fee for this presentation, but a collection will be taken for the Faith Based Security Network, which Chinn is the President of. Faith Based Security Network is a public charity committed to improving the safety of American communities by inspiring faith based organizations to be intentional about the security of their people.

At Heartland Firearms Academy our mission is to provide you with real world, practical firearms training and skills from beginner to advanced shooters. We offer a variety of classes in fire arms handling and safety. Our courses are designed to simulate the stress of real-world situations. A certified professional instructor will provide top quality training, classroom group, and one-on-one private lessons are available.

Extension Master Gardeners’ Lunch & Learn

Please join us for our first Lunch & Learn for 2018! Dr. Jackson from Pratt Community College will be our guest speaker. She will enlighten us with research and information about Biochar and how to enrich our soil. There will be a light meal included, cost is $10.
